Rajib Nandi

Dr. Rajib Nandi is the Vice President of Knowledge Management and Capacity Development at Sambodhi Research and Communications, bringing over 25 years of experience in research and evaluation with a strong focus on capacity building, gender-transformative evaluations, women’s economic empowerment, livelihoods, and gender equality. He holds a Ph.D. from Jawaharlal Nehru University, India, and a certification from the University of Bern’s International Program for Development Evaluation Training. Rajib is the co-founder of the Evaluation Community of India (ECOI). He also contributes as a member of the International Evaluation Academy (IEAc) and serves on the Board of the International Organization for Cooperation in Evaluation (IOCE). 

Phuntsho Choden

Dr. Phuntsho Choden (PhD) is Monitoring and Evaluation Specialist with expertise in culturally responsive evaluation, development and policy analysis, and social economics research. She holds a PhD from QUT Business School and a double master’s degree in Economics. With 20+ years of experience in government, academia, and the private sector, Dr Choden has proven analytical skills and ability for data analysis. An expert in both quantitative and qualitative methodology.

Mr. Chelladurai Solomon

Mr Solomon has over 30 years of experience being a researcher, evaluator and management consultant in Asia and West Africa. He is a specialist in Rural Policy and Planning, Livelihoods and Social Enterprises and child rights. He has undertaken several action-oriented types of research on child rights, government primary education, local-governance, the socio-economic profile of conservancy workers, employment guarantee scheme and social enterprises. He is a Co-Founder and past Chairperson of the Community of Evaluators South Asia (CoE-SA). Presently he is the Vice President of the International Organization for Cooperation

Sundara Babu Nagappan

Sundara Babu Nagappan is a freelance public policy analyst, a peace researcher, a grassroots civil society trainer, educator and mentor. Since 1998, he has been involved in several ongoing documentation studies, action-researches, assessments, evaluations, monitoring, and training with particular focus on ‘socio-economic justice’, ‘equitable land-water relations’ ‘universalization of social protection’, ‘conflict transformation’, ‘development effectiveness’, ‘climate justice’ and preservation of ‘commons’. Moreover since 2010, he has also been involved in various contemporary regional & local initiatives associated with community medicine, animal welfare, intellectual property rights, social enterprises, labour wellness, organic farming, debt crisis, abolition of manual scavenging, environmental impact assessments, dignity at workplaces, mental health, green energy, occupational safety, and legal compliances in India and abroad. His ongoing engagements include action-research on ‘humane economy’, ‘migration’, ‘climate resilience’, and dignity perspectives among workers from various informal and unorganised sectors. He completed his MA, MPhil, PhD studies from the Jawaharlal Nehru University (JNU), New Delhi, India.

Rashmi Agrawal

Dr. Rashmi Agrawal a PhD in Psychology from India specialized in Rehabilitation & Counselling from the University of California, USA. She is an IPDET Alumni, has more than three decades of experience as a trainer and researcher in Monitoring & Evaluation, and fields of social sciences. Authored a number of books on topics of social relevance; presented papers in national and international forums; designed and organized a diploma course in ‘Monitoring and Evaluation’ for international participants as course Director, Government of India. She also taught a course as Co- instructor on Survey Designs at Carleton University Canada organized by IPDET.

As a member of IDEAS (Board member) contributed to the development of Competencies Framework. chaired a thematic sub-group on ‘Utilisation of Evaluations’. She is a founder member of ‘Community of Evaluators’- South Asia and worked in its Steering Committee.  She initiated and is a co-leader of Evaluation Community of India (ECOI). She was also a board member of APEA and Co- Chair of IRIPE. She did various international projects and is also a member of Evalgender+.She is a member of the International Evaluation Academy (IEAc). 

She retired as Director from NILERD, NITI Aayog, Govt. of India and is now working as an Independent Consultant.

Shweta Anand

Independent Development practitioner | Social Network Analysis & MEL Expert | Former Assistant Professor, University of Delhi

Dr. Shweta Anand is a development practitioner with over 15 years of professional experience in the field with a demonstrated history of working in the research & evaluation industry. My core areas of expertise lie in evaluating ICT4D interventions in the field of gender and health; participatory communication, participatory monitoring & evaluation. An established Social Network Analysis (SNA) & MEL Expert, her recent stints are with CGIAR (IAES) & Society for Labour and Development (SLD). She has worked with many with many national and international development organizations like USAID, UNICEF, IOCE (The International Organization for Cooperation in Evaluation), The Tibet Fund, National Health System Resource Centre (NHSRC), Centre for Media Studies (CMS).

Her competency lies at the intersection of social inclusion, gender equity, and youth development. She has spearheaded research work aimed at dismantling barriers to inclusivity and fostering environments conducive to the holistic growth of young individuals, regardless of gender, ethnicity, or socio-economic status. In the realm of social inclusion, her work has involved designing and implementing strategies that promote diversity and empower marginalised communities. By fostering dialogue and collaboration among stakeholders, she has facilitated creation of inclusive spaces where all voices are heard and valued. A core member of GENSA & an Evalgender+ awardee, she spearheaded creation of an e-module & a podcast series titled “Evaluating Men & Masculinities in South Asia”. An aspiring author and a social entrepreneur, she is committed to driving all her efforts towards achieving women empowerment & youth development in her own little capacities.

Bijita Devsharma

Bijita Devsharma is an independent consultant and evaluator with 16+ years of experience across sectors such as Education, Gender, Child Rights & Child Protection and Water, Sanitation and Hygiene (WASH). She is an expert in using gender transformative evaluation approaches and has been a consultant with leading organisations such as World YWCA, Oxfam India, Save the Children, Room to Read and Aga Khan Foundation.
